When in Phoenix, park your car and walk! The city is saturated with hidden gems around every corner. The Crescent Ballroom is one! Their kitchen is actually called Cocina 10, but most locals refer to the spot just as Crescent Ballroom. The entire space includes a brick lounge, a small bar, a string-lit patio, and live music.
The menu has been developed to showcase Tex-Mex dishes inspired from interstate ten. Tex-Mex is divided into burritos, tortas, tacos, enchiladas, etc. My friends and I chose to dive into the mix and match tacos. These street size tacos are delivered in a basket with chips below. Red and green salsa is brought to the table upon request. The tacos were just as expected: full of flavor!
Live music can be heard in the dining room. If you wish to get up a dance, the door to the dance floor is nearby. You’ll even notice the staff having a good time with a few dance moves of their own. When you’re ready to move onto the next spot, there are more events and venues within walking distance. I encourage you to spend an evening in downtown Phoenix, beginning at the Crescent Ballroom.
